With 50 exquisitely decorated bedrooms adorned with every comfort.  Stobo Castle’s special gift to you is making your bedroom your very special place.  All bedrooms are equipped with en-suite, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, radio and direct dial telephone.  Many rooms have superb views of rolling hills and beautiful peaceful countryside.  For the ultimate in comfort why not upgrade to a    De-Luxe room or better still to The Cashmere Suite.  This magnificent suite is so opulent where cashmere and unadulterated luxury personifies a new concept in guest accommodation.  With cashmere lined walls in rich claret and a camel coloured cashmere  and two large hand-painted Italian beds draped in sumptuous fabrics.  The outstanding bathroom is such a stunning feature with a handcrafted limestone bath large enough for 2!   not to mention the flat-screen television and underfloor heating.

Stobo Castle has the only 25m ozone-treated swimming pool in Scotland offering fantastic views of the countryside – such a panoramic setting to enjoy for a swim or an aqua aerobics class for the more energetic.  Our stunning hydrospa  is one of the most advanced of its kind. Delight on an Airlounger designed to give an air massage along the full length of your body, in the middle, an airpad supplies millions of bubbles to give an invigorating and refreshing standing massage or an excellent neck and shoulder massage from the two giant water fountains.  Enjoy working out in the new state-of-the-art gymnasium with the latest equipment supplied by top fitness experts Matrix and the spacious, mirrored air-conditioned aerobic studio where you can take part in a varied programme of wellbeing classes to include exercise, dance, movement and relaxation classes.

For those who prefer something a little more strenuous, try out our recently resurfaced tennis court by playing with a friend. A selection of mountain bikes are available for exploring further afield - maps are available with suggested routes to make the most of the stunning countryside.

The nearby popular tourist town of Peebles lies just 7 miles away, offering golf and horse-riding, and fishing on the Stobo Loch can easily be arranged.
